- Asian Handicap
- Asian handicap is a spread bet that eliminates the draw outcome and gives each team a +/- handicap.
- Bankroll
- Your bankroll is the total amount of money you have set aside for making bets.
- Bet Slip
- A bet slip is a record showing the selections you have made and the potential payout for each bet.
- Betting Exchange
- A betting exchange is a platform where bettors can back or lay outcomes against each other, rather than against a bookmaker.
- Bonus Wagering Requirement
- A bonus wagering requirement is the amount you must bet before bonus money can be withdrawn.
- Bookmaker
- A bookmaker is a company or individual that sets odds and accepts bets on sporting events.
- Cashout
- Cashout is a feature that lets you settle a bet early, either locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Draw No Bet
- A draw no bet lets you wager on a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded.
- Edge
- An edge is a perceived advantage you have over the bookmaker’s odds, increasing your potential profit.
- Free Bet
- A free bet is a bonus token you can use to place a bet; any winnings are usually yours, minus the free bet stake.
- Futures
- A futures bet is placed on an event that will be decided later, such as who wins the tournament.
- Juice
- Juice, also called vig, is the commission a bookmaker charges for taking your bet.
- Lay Bet
- A lay bet is a wager that a specific outcome will not happen, essentially acting as the bookmaker on a betting exchange.
- Line Movement
- Line movement refers to how the odds or spread change over time as more bets are placed.
- Live Betting

- Moneyline
- A moneyline bet is a straightforward wager on which team will win the match, with odds adjusted for each side.
- Odds
- Odds represent the likelihood of an outcome and determine how much you can win if your bet is correct.
- Over/Under
- An over/under bet asks whether the combined score of a game will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Parlay
- A parlay combines multiple selections into a single bet; all choices must win for the bet to pay out.
- Point Spread
- The point spread assigns a handicap to the favored team to make the betting action more balanced.
- RTP
- RTP, or return to player, is the percentage of total money wagered that a game pays back to players over time.
- Stake
- The stake is the sum of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
- A value bet occurs when the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you an expected edge.
- Void Bet
